A minimum of D− (minus) is needed to enrol in Caregiving I. If you're unsure whether your result qualifies, get in touch and we'll confirm.
Each of the four levels runs six months, so the full certificate takes two years if you go straight through. You can also leave with a certificate after any level you complete.
Fees are Kes 75,000 per level. Computer Operator is Kes 20,000 in total. Scholarship rounds offer a limited number of places, so check the Admissions page for current details.
We admit new students twice a year, in April and October. Applications are accepted all year, and admissions will tell you which intake you'll join.
Yes. Alongside full-time study on campus, we offer part-time, online and e-learning options so you can train around work or family.
Alphil is TVETA registered, and students sit NITA examinations alongside internal ATC assessments. Both are recognised nationally, and graduates use this certificate as the basis for caregiver applications abroad. Requirements differ from country to country, so we'll help you check what your target employer or agency asks for.
Yes. Hostel accommodation is available for students who don't live within easy reach of our Kiratina campus.
Before graduating, every student completes a supervised placement through our attachment centre. We also offer career guidance and links to employers to help you find work locally or apply abroad.
Yes. Students who can't meet the full fees can fill in the sponsorship application form on the Sponsorship page and attach supporting documents. Admissions reviews every application and will contact you.
